Chega de Saudade (No More Sadness), acrylic on canvas, is part of the current Masquerade group show at Modern Eden gallery in San Francisco. See the gallery listing with more photos of the painting here.
Chega de saudade is a famous Portuguese phrase and title of the legendary 1958 Brazilian bossa nova song by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes. The word "saudade" represents a deep melancholic longing for a person, place, or thing.

Louis' work was selected to appear in the 2026 Spotlight Showcase exhibit hosted by Arch Enemy Arts gallery in Philadelphia. From January 24th to February 15th, two paintings, entitled Theia and Hebe, were shown alongside works by 17 other artists from around the globe.
